Simple Guide to test Cars Radiator Fan

- Alligator clips
- A 12-volt power source (such as the car's battery)

Step 1: Disconnect the Cooling Fan

Step 2: Identify the Prong Connectors

Step 3: Prepare Your Test Equipment

You'll need a 12-volt power source for this test. The easiest option is to use the car's battery along with alligator clips. If you don't have alligator clips, I've provided a link in the description where you can purchase them.

Step 4: Connect the Alligator Clips

- Attach one alligator clip to the negative terminal of the car's battery.
- Connect the other end of this clip to one of the prong connectors.
- Next, attach a second alligator clip to the positive terminal of the battery.
- Connect the other end of this clip to the remaining prong connector.

Step 5: Observe the Fan

- This method can also be used to test the blower motor fan inside your car. Simply remove the blower motor and connect it in the same manner to see if it functions correctly.
- If the fan works, but your car is still overheating, the issue might lie with the connector, the fan control module, or the switch that regulates the fan's operation. These components may need replacement.
